I saw that there was another thread about this general topic but I would like to know if there is someone here who already made the experience of turning 28 while starting the journey and if it’s possible to activate the pass (mine is for two months/10days) before your birthday and start your first travel day after that and it’s still valid. In the Interrail description it states that you have to ‘start your journey’ (or similar) before your 28th birthday  but does it mean activate the pass or actually start traveling? If someone already had that case please tell me about it - thank you!:)

You must start the validity of the pass before you turn 28, but there's no requirement that you travel before your birthday.

When you activate the pass you decide when you want the validity to start.
