First of all, delete that image immediately, anyone reading this could steal your pass with that information.

 

Whoever it was that told you that were wrong and you shouldn’t be taking advice from them.

 

Eurail customer services can reset your original pass, just contact them through the form below. Write the pass number and that you are currently travelling/need the pass for immediate travel.
