Hi Oziel - no, it will be valid for activation for 11 months from the date of purchase. In Europe (Interrail) the same offer isn’t being described as a summer sale at all.

These new MOBile passes have the advantage that you do NOT have to predetermine the first/last days-that is only done when you have decided on when to make that first trip!
