Hi All, I am travelling from Brussels to Paris tonight and I didn’t realise that a seat reservation is required. I thought Eurorail pass holders doesn’t require reservations. Now I got to know that all the seats are fully booked. Is it possible for me to travel without reservation? The officer told me that I have to take another ticket for travel by standing which cost 134£ per person. How can i use my eurrail pass for this trip?

If it has to be tonight, then that’s your only option.
If you can wait until tomorrow, there are cheaper fares on the Thalys (but still no pass holder availability), and slower trains that don’t require reservation.
Alternate route for Eurail here: https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#Belgium
There are no options by rail, you cannot use the pass without a reservation and there are strict quotas on Thalys.
If you want a cheaper option there is www.flixbus.com who have departures at 21.00 and 22.05 Brussels - Paris for approx €40, journey time is 4h30-5h.
