Two things I wish we knew when we started out!
when you download your train trip for the day, be sure to screenshot your QR code as sometimes you don’t get Wi-Fi on the train and therefore can’t show it to the conductor.
Second your QR code can be used to get in and out of the train stations through the turn styles so you don’t have to buy separate tickets. If you have first class tickets be sure to get on the train with a number one on it.
We didn’t quite get to figure out that if we had to have seat Reservations for first class if we could just go to second class instead
