transfers times chur to geneve

I have noticed next to transfer times it states for talk sake 43 hours, yet it states short transfer, is this a type error?

Probably a bug on Rail Planner.

For actual planning I recommend using DB Navigator or in case of Switzerland, the SBB app. You'll get platform info, train formation, etc.

Then I log one train at a time on Rail Planner right before boarding.
