Travel on day 1 - does the pass cover any station in one's home country?

I know the pass covers one inbound and one outbound trip from the home country but does the pass cover travel from any train station in one’s home country? In other words, if I want to travel from my home town (outside London) to Paris, would it cover the part from my home town to London on the same day that I would get a connecting train from London to Paris?

Thanks

Yes.

You can take as many trains as you please.
