Travelling in my home country

Hi there 

I have purchased a interrail global pass for 2 months knowing I can only have 1 inbound and outbound journey. We are planning on going from London to Bruges outbound but on the way back we are getting a flight from Portugal to Edinburgh (due to timing). I was wondering is it possible to use my second inbound journey from Edinburgh back to London or does the journey have to be travelling from out of my home country back into it?  Want to make sure this is okay before booking any flights!

That is no problem, this is also what the inbound journey is for. You can us any number of trains in your country of residence to get back home on that day.

It even explicitly states its valid till border point-on rails, or sea/airport. The Tram/Bus from EDI you have to pay till waverley.
