Travelling with non-Eurail pass holder

What’s the best way to book a train ticket-i have a 1st class unlimeted Euralial pass and my parter doesn’t have any pass?  We want to be able to sit together in first class from Amsterdam to Paris.

You can call SNCF. They should be able to help.

https://www.sncf.com/en/customer-service/contact-us/telephone

 Press #85 for English, no booking fees, reservations are sent via e-mail. Not all credit cards are accepted.

For a train departing Amsterdan you should  also be able to call NS. Also no booking fees and they do accept VISA. Remember the country code (+31)

If you book a train via SNCF-connect, you can usually choose a seat where you want to sit close/next to. Although this isn’t always possible, due to high occupancy. But usually you sit in the same carriage.

@BrendanDB

You can't book online with SNCF if you have a Eurail or an Interrail pass.

No, but the person not travelling via Interrail/Eurail can choose a seat close by via this way. That could save a phone call and extra costs ;)
