Use of the 3 inboud/outbound days

Hi,
I have just returned from an interrail trip during which I used 2 of my 3 inboud/outbound days and 6 of my 7 travel days. Do you know if it is possible to use my last travel day and my last inboud/outbound day, for example, as part of a short day trip to a neighbouring country, or is this contrary to the interrail principle, given that I have already returned home?
Thank you in advance for your answers and best regards,
Lucie

Yeah, no problem for you to use it that way, since you’re part of the trial passes with 3-day inbound/outbound days. Interrail will probably ask your opinion of that 3rd day after using your pass :)
