I plan to buy the pass to travel from:
1) London king cross to Edinburgh
2) Glasgow to Liverpool
3) Liverpool to London paddington
Can this pass be used?

+8Indeed, you do want to reserve your seats on the longer distance trains from and to London (for free!) via https://www.gwr.com/your-tickets/seat-reservations or https://www.lner.co.uk/travel-information/make-a-reservation/
BUT depending on when you plan and if youre willing now to fix it all by advance bookings, this may work out cheaper-or not. IF you also plan to see more of EURope then a pass will likely pay off-and then do not forget to book that €* early enough-or cover a longer distance in the air
