How do we activate a travelday, without a planned journey for the day. We just want to hop on and off and see what the day brings. Whithout restricting to a certain plan.

using a travelday without a planned trip
You have to add every train you use to your pass, before you board it. So, also if you don't have a plan in advance, you will know what train you'll take at the moment you want to board it.
You're not restricted to any plan, since you can always change your trains.
You must always add and activate the train you're travelling with as a journey in the Trip that is connect to your pass before boarding the train. If you don't do this you have no valid ticket to travel with.
