When do I have to activate my pass?

hello! i have a question about my pass. i have a global pass for 7 travel days in a month.

i planned to start the trip on the 1 january 2024 and i already added all the trains i have to take to “my travel”; i was just wondering when i have to add a travel document to actually activate the pass because i don’t know if it actually have some kind of  “expire date” or else.

please help me :)

Your must start the validity of your pass no later than 11 months after purchase. 

You can make a test activation of your pass with a start date well in the future to see that everything works. The you deactivate the pass and wait with activating the pass until just before boarding the first train of your travel.
