I have a question about interrail pass. We are planning to travel 2 nights with the card. For both, we will leave on one calendar day and have to transfer on the next calendar day. Does this mean we are using up 4 days of the pass?

What do you mean with "have to transfer on the next calendar day"?

If you change trains from the night train to another train, then you will use another travel day. If the only train you travel with after midnight is the night train, then only the departure day of the night train is a travel day.

Yes, when you change trains after midnight you have to use a new travel day.

Als je een pas hebt met reisdagen dan kan je ENKEL op die kalenderdag elke trein benutten-tot je uitstapt (net als ik vandaag ga doen hier vanaf Paris).
