I have a global pass. How do I update it after a journey? Or it gets upadated automatically on the system?

You log each train on Rail Planner app. This can be done at any point prior to boarding and you can modify it as you go.
Note that timetables after 15th December are still not published on Rail Planner but they're available on the companies websites/apps (DB Navigator, etc.).
