We’re still fine-tuning things, and we'd LOVE to hear what you think. Drop your feedback below or hit the feedback button in the Tripplanner itself! 💬

Happy planning! 🌍🚆

@AnnaB I’m curious what you think! I know this has been on your improvement list for a long time.

One thing I noticed is that it automatically calculates a journey time between two cities, but it doesn’t ask the user what time they want to leave, only what date. It seems to default to departing at the current time, whenever the search is performed, without actually telling you this. I only noticed this when it suggested Newcastle to Strasbourg in March will take 15 hours. (It does if you leave Newcastle at lunchtime!)

Ie depending on what time of day I check the Trip Planner, I will have very different impression of typical journey times. That doesn’t seem helpful.

It’s also telling me Newcastle to Strasbourg is direct!

Example

This time it’s saying 18 hours, and 1 change - which are both wrong! (Note, I haven’t specifically told it when I would be leaving Newcastle)

I don't understand how the number of travel days is calculated.

I entered the Bernina trip, and I got a proposal of 8 travel days although I only need 7 travel days.
