I need to book my reservation for the tgv together with a friend, but if we do it seperately we are not sitting together. How can we do it so we can sit next to each other?

You can book domestic French TGV and Intercities from b-europe here https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish
It doesn’t allow you to choose seats but when you book 2 it should default to reserving seats beside each other.
Only ticket offices in France and possibly a few other countries are able to choose specific seats for passholder reservations.
