Hi the discount code HRAIL30-D indicated for domestic discounts for Fjordlines gets activated but the price is not discounted not the payment is possible. ("Something went wrong with your payment. Please try again later.) I tried three browsers , didn't help. Any ideas how to get the discount. I want to travel on May 31. Thanks.

I also don’t seem to get the discount calculated in the price. Best ask directly at Fjordlines. Alternatively, for about the same price per person, you can get I Kystbussen, with a lot of nice views on the way. https://www.nor-way.no/en/. A bit quicker than by ship too.

The busses are much more frequent too, so you can leave later than the rather early 7 AM.

What is the route your looking for? Where are you leaving from? At what time do you want to leave?

EDIT, now I see. My bad, gonna check.

I finally wrote to the customer service using their form and they replied and sent payment details. I have my ticket with Interrail discount now. Thanks for your answers.

I thought the discount wasn’t working for me despite the “ Code activated - Flex Ticket (Eurail)” message because it showed the same price than without the code, and also the interrail discount page from Fjordline states “This discount cannot be applied on bookings which include vehicles or cabins.”

However it also says “Your discount price will be displayed in step 8, when you activate the "Checkout"-button.” and indeed, when I clicked to go to payment 106€ magically disappeared from the total.

Gee that was helpful, thank you @Joris68! Their site is inscrutable and I also found that the EUrail discount made no difference UNTIL you hit that Checkout button. When you do, you get a little popup like the below.

Tip: The formulation on their site makes it sound like you might not get the discount on bookings that include cabins (forcing you to use the cheap seats) but actually it works also when you book a cabin. It's just that the 30% discount is applied to the ticket price, not the total price.

For our trip (Hirtshals > Bergen) the tickets are 224 (two adults and two children) and the discount is 96. The difference between 4 airseats and a cabin for four is about the same as the discount itself, so you can also think of the discount as a free upgrade from airseat to cabin.

“Do you want to continue with the new price” — Umm, yes?
