Koln - Brussels; shows seat available for full price tickets but none for Eurail Pass Holders

I am trying to do seat reservations from Koln to Brussels. The B-Europe site (Belgium railways) shows seat available for full price tickets but none for Eurail Pass Holders. Can we still catch the train using the pass and hope that seats will be available?

No you can't. On Thalys (and some other services where SNCF is involved) the pass holder seats sell out before the train is full. You run the risk of having to pay the full fare plus an on-board supplement. Or to be removed from the train.

There's an ICE train every 2 hours, reservations optional; book via DB for 4.5€/journey or via ÖBB for 3€/train.

The ICE trains are also showing full for pass holders but not for fully paid tickets.

This ICE is the usual train one uses between these cities-it runs 1 hr before or after your chosen Thls. ICE never ´sell out´ though sometimes no more seat_RES (as such optional) are put up for buying

What do you mean? ICEs don't have limited seats for pass holders or any other group. It might be busy though.
