Hi,

 

I hope this post finds you well in these unpredictable times.

 

I am looking to potentially do this route during 14-22 May. Please could you send any suggestions and useful info.?

 

Athens - Thessaloniki - 4hr 25min
Skopje - Thessaloniki 4hr 00min
Skopje -Belgrade 8hr 45min
Belgrade - Sarajevo?
Sarajevo - Podgorica?
Podgorica - Dubvronik?

 

I want to visit  these countries but I think the above makes more sense?

 

  1. Bosnia-Herzegovina

  2. Croatia

  3. Greece

  4. Montenegro

  5. North Macedonia

  6. Serbia

  7. Turkey

Only Athens - Thessaloniki can currently be done by train.

Belgrade - Podgorica (- Bar) would also be possible but it's not in your plan.

For the rest, look for buses. And Interrail doesn't make a lot of sense just for these journeys; the normal fares are too low on the Balkans.

Please ask questions in the community and not via a private message. That's the quickest way to get a response. I don't work for Eurail/Interrail.
