Hello, 

i want to travel with the EC from (Salburg-)Villach to Zagreb and maybe a little bit more around at Croatia. Croatian trains doesn’t have the best reputation for being on time. Does anybody have some experiences on that or any advices for routes at Croatia?

It depends. The line to Split is not very punctual. Regional trains are not too bad.
