Hello, this is my first time booking on Eurail. I’m starting my journey from the UK to Belgium. Is it possible for me to book my journey starting from Newcastle or Edinburgh? Or does it have to start from London to get to Belgium? To my understanding, I would have to book separately on a different website to get to London first before travelling to Belgium.

On a pass day you can take as many trains as you'd like so it is entirely possible to start your day in Edinburgh or Newcastle.

Seat reservations in the UK are optional and free. Please do not pay anything for them. See :

Eurostar can either be bought on eurail.com (2€ booking fee per person per train) or here : https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish (4€ booking fee per order). Limited number of seats available so book well in advance
