Hello!

what is the best and easiest way to get from Calais to Dover and way back, in Summer?

I’m travelling with two kids.

Grazie 😁

Well, most ferries stopped accepting foot passengers unfortunately. There are a few P&O sailings still accepting foot passengers.

More info here: https://www.seat61.com/trains-and-routes/london-to-paris-by-ferry.htm (and some better alternatives)

It’s quite cheap when you take it as a cyclist I think.

Eurostar doesn’t stop at intermediate stations any more.

If you don’t want to travel by car, I think a Flixbus or BlaBlabus will be best and cheapest.

Oh gosh, really? From the P&O website it looks like there are only three journeys a day for foot passengers (still very few, especially during summer).

I hope it is up to date.

Thank you!
