Global Pass Confusion

Hi,

Could someone please clarify: if I purchase a Eurail Global Pass, will it allow me to travel on high-speed trains operated by companies like Deutsche Bahn (DB) in Germany and Trenitalia's Frecciarossa in Italy? Specifically, can I use the pass for both domestic journeys (from one city to another city in Italy or France to explore whole city) within a country and international trips between countries, such as traveling from Germany to France and then to Italy?

Thank you!

Yes to all your questions.

Some trains will require a seat reservation, e.g. Frecciarossa. See this page for the best ways to book reservations:

What do you mean with “to explore whole city”? Please note that Eurail passes are not valid in buses, trams or subways in the cities.
