Hi, I recently got married and we are planning our honeymoon for next year (July 2024) so we can properly save after the expense of a wedding! My husband and I love to explore cities and culture (new food, history, nights out) but also love being outdoors especially in the mountains and hiking. We will have 2 weeks and are looking for a route that encompasses both these things ie a few capital cities we haven't visited before and some time in some stunning scenery. And some romance would be nice too ☺️ we have lots of ideas but be nice to get some inspiration from others. Any ideas please? Thanks!

Mmmmh... lots of possibilities

- Bruges, Gand and Brussels

- Strasbourg

- Switzerland

- Lake Como

- Verona

- end in Venice

OR

- Brussels/Bruges/Gand

- Amsterdam

- night train to Vienna (book the night train well in advance if you'd like a 2-people private sleeper compartment). With Interrail you only pay accomodation

- either Venice direct or first a stop in the Austrian Alps

- other option would be via Slovenia
