How many days should I count in my ICE train journey?

Hello!

I have decided to do the interrail through Germany and I have a question about a train journey.
The journey starts in Bremen on a Friday at 20:44 and I arrive in Muncih at 06:03 the next day (Saturday).
The train that I have reserved a seat for is an ICE train.
How many days of travel should I count for this journey? Only 1 (the day of departure) or 2 days?

Is it considered a night train?

Thank you!

A train that runs over midnight is a night train, so you need one travel day for a direct, overnight, train ride from Bremen to Munich.

Thank you so much for your answer!! 😊

Now I can plan my trip from Bremen to Munich, taking one ICE train on friday afternoon and returning on Sunday from Munich to Bremen on another train, using only 2 days of my Interrail Pass.

I was wondering if it was necessary for it to be an OBB Nightjet so that it only counted the day of departure of the train.., or since in my case it is an ICE train, I can also count only the day of departure.

Thanks again!!
