The planner on the app doesn’t have any Greek trains as far as I can see - where’s the best place to see the timetable, and are reservations needed for any Greek trains?
also, are there replacement buses over the Greek-North Macedonia border?

The best (and only) place to check is https://www.hellenictrain.gr/en
Reservations are free and required. Available at the train station.
There are no replacement buses per se but you should find regular buses (Interrail/Eurail not valid).
