I was wondering if anyone could leave some suggestions of free activities/experiences, as well as things that I’d spend a bit more money on in Europe. I’m not sure what route I want to do yet so leave suggestions for anywhere you’ve been that you think is worthwhile seeing/doing. I’m thinking of getting the 7 days in 1 month pass.

This has already been answered for: just check the rest of the site-country descriptions, suggestions etc. These so very broad Questions tend to lead to only very few very course response.
There is now even a ´challenge´of course via ultra-modern media, to visit a few out-of-the-way but nonetheless interesting places easy to reach by trains in the pass-system.
PS-in the distant past people would buy or borrow a book as guidebook for this.
