I’m tryiung to fill out my itinerary. Only very few cities are listed. When I type in the names of those I want, they aren’t featured. Is interrail only for a small number of cities, or is there a way to use the whole rail network?

Thanks

so how do we book to their stations? I know for sure that Leoben is included on OBB, but it’s not available on the journey planner https://www.interrail.eu/en/tripplanner-map#adult=1

That's not a website where you can book. AFAIK it's a planning tool to help you pick the right pass. I've never used it to be honest. I plan my journeys using a map and the Deutsche Bahn planner. For booking reservations, check this thread:

Where are you typing the names?

Interrail can be used on all trains of the participating railways and to any station these trains serve.

It does not work with stations or line, but whith partecipating train companies. And there are train companies of 33 european countries partecipating including some ship companies. Most known companies are DB, ÖBB, SNCF, Trenitalia, Eurostar, Thalys, MAV Start, SZ, HZ or CD.
