Is it possible to restart my journey after i interrupted it and flew home for a collage interview? I wanted to go from munich to italy and then fly back to munich for my college interview to save time. After that I wanted to keep on traveling using my interrail pass, starting in munich again with the next destination france. Is that possible?

in general that is possible. Only “problem” will be, that you will have used your outbound journey likely already. So you’d need an extra ticket for the second trip from München to the border station and from there you can use again your Interrail pass without any limitations.

+16My suggestion save the outbound day for France and use from Munich till the Austrian border (on your way to Italy) a standard ticket :)
