Train from Thessaloniki to Skopje or Sofia in the summer 2023

Hi everyone,

I plan to take some trips in the summer of 2023 from Thessaloniki to Skopje or Sofia.  Due to recent train accident in Greece and the suspension of train services afterwards (in addition to the suspension of  train services during the pandemic), is any hope that international train services will be stored during the summer?

There have been no international trains from/to Greece for some years now and you'd better not have too much hope of them returning soon.

Thanks for your reply.  If trains are not available, are bus services good for the trip?

There are buses but they're not included in the pass.
