Hı im sümeyra. İm 33 years old. İm studying at horse bacak riding. I will go to hungary on 1 august from turkey. I want to learn how train baggage weight policy.  So, how much weight can I take on the way there or back? Are there any restrictions on trains regarding this? I'll probably take one large suitcase and a 40-liter backpack on the way there, but I might take more on the way back.

Also, regarding train routes, there's a train from Türkiye to Bucharest that I'll be taking, and from Bucharest there's a train to Budapest. However, my destination in Hungary is Gyor. If there are any friends who live in Hungary and use trains, or who use trains on routes in that region, I would appreciate their comments.

Merhaba

Most train companies don’t strictly enforce baggage weights and sizes. If you can carry it on the train , you can take it.

Your backpack + a smaller backpack + a shopping bag etc will be fine

My understanding is that TCCD does have strict checks - maybe only on the high speed trains? But you will know better than me. Feedback appreciated.

For the sleeper train to Bucharest, you’ll have to buy Interrail reservations at the ticket counter in İstanbul. Same for the way back - buy your reservation in Bucharest, or maybe they can do it in İstanbul. Again, feedback appreciated! I know you can buy tickets online, but not reservations
