Hi we are looking to travel from Venice to Milan in June 12 2023, and Milan to Nice in June 15 2023.
But looking at the timetables there’s no train that is less than 13/14 hours, im looking for trains that take less than 5 hours.
Has the timetable been update for summer yet??

Hi, the timetable for Italy is online till second saturday in June. In the next weeks and months there will be the summer update. For the latest timetable check trenitalia.com

Die Strecke von Mailand nach Nizza dauert 5-7 Stunden. In der DB Planer App kann man die Fahrten bis zum 10. Juni, die danach wahrscheinlich erst in ein paar Tagen. Dementsprechend wirst nur noch ein bisschen warten müssen :)

Milan to Nice involves a change at Ventimiglia. There is a 4 hourly Intercity from Milan to Ventimiglia (takes about 4hrs and then a regional SNCF service every half hour to Nice and Cannes. Reservations for the IC (once released) can be made on the OEBB booking service at 3 euro per seat. No reservation is needed for the VM to Nice train.
