Global Pass, which trips are included within your own country of residence

Philipp Bauer

Hi, we want to travel in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in August in September. We are from Germany.

Now my question: Are in the Global Pass trips in Germany included, and are the trips from Germany to Denmark and from Sweden back to Germany included?

Thanks for your help!

Philipp

On any interrail pass you have 2 days only in which you can use the pass in your home country as well as other countries, these are inclusive days of the pass and can be taken as you choose at any point within the duration of your pass.

Any other travel to/from your home country you will have to purchase separate transport to at least the nearest border station in a neighbouring country.

Ok thanks! So is it possible to take two trains in our home country on one of these 2 inclusive days - one train from one German to another German station and the second one from Germany to Denmark? Or is it only allowed to take one train, which transports us directly from our home country to another country?

You can take as many trains as you like in your home country, as long as the last train departs from the station you board at before midnight.
