returning to the country of residence

Jean-marie Idiartegaray

Hello, I live in France and would like to buy a global pass (7 days). For the trains in France, I know that I can take train to go out during 1 day and same for coming back.

But I would like to know if it is possible to cross the border with another way (without the pass) and take the day after national trains (from France to France) ?

Thank you

The only rule is: On two of the travel days of your pass, you can use (any) trains in your country of residence. So what you think of doing, is perfectly possible.
