seat reservation- Barcelona to Nimes

RENFE AVE book from Eurail reservation service or www.happyrail.com

SNCF TGV book at www.raileurope.com

Slower regional trains via Port Bou reservations not required.

I can get to the payment page, on interrail.eu, for the train leaving Barcelona-Sants at 8:19.

1. Which train are you trying to book?
2. On which website?
3. At which exact step do you get stuck?
4. Could you please post a screenshot of what you see there?

I have tried both Eurail reservation service and happy rail.com already, but cannot make the seat reservations. 
 

I have also studied seat61.com before

Happyrail indeed seems to have a problem currently, but even on my mobile phone I can get to the payment page on interrail.eu and eurail.com.

Does it work for you on a pc?

Still cannot work even I use my desktop 

I can only book the seat reservation on RailEurope by paying €25 and choose 09:28; this is not my first choice, I want to choose 08:19 (€10). Please refer below picture, thanks

If I insist 08:18, then I need to buy it at station . So I need to take the risk for fully booked 

This is strange. Just checking: you are logged in on the Eurail website and both passengers have a pass attached?

I just found that booking Barcelona to Lyon works on happyrail.com. Just book that and leave the train in Nîmes. There are no exit checks.

I don’t understand your meaning….. I have 2 passes and inserted information into the apps. Any problem with it?

1.  Is there any handling charge for the seat reservation being made at the station in Spain?

2. Can I book the seat reservation for all the trains inside Spain through Happyrail?

Usually, there is a 5.5% booking charge for reservations on high speed trains made at spanish ticket offices. No additional booking fee for regional trains with mandatory reservations.

Only AVE, Alvia, Euromed and Intercity trains can be booked through happyrail. For all other trains, you have to rely on spanish ticket counters.

I strongly recommend not to book these reservations at Barcelona Sants or Madrid-Atocha . Use the ticket offices at any smaller station instead to avoid long waiting times.

Barcelona França and Madrid Chamartín are not too bad usually.
