We tried to buy 2nd class seat reservations from Ourense to Madrid.
Instead the clerk at the station sold us 1st class and said that 2nd class was sold out.
We said we only had a 2nd class pass but they just ignored us and said everything will be fine.
Is that right?
Maybe he sold you an upgrade at the same time. How much was it ?
Otherwise I'd speak to staff on the platform and explain. It probably won't be an issue but just to avoid misunderstandings.

13€ is the official 1st class reservation price as far as I know so that's what you probably paid (without upgrade).
Speak to staff on the platform I'd suggest.
We asked the platform staff and they said it was OK.
Nobody checked our pass once onboard.
