Adding an European Sleeper reservation to a travel day

Hello

This July i am going on a trip with my friends, and we are boarding on normal trains for almost every destination. However, on our trip from Amsterdam to Berlin we decided to book an European Sleeper through the interrail web.

Is it necessary to add that reservation to my pass or can i enter the train only by showing the ES ticked i have reserved?

If it is necessary, how do I add it to a travel day?

Thanks

Every journey you make with the pass must be added to it and activated. Not doing so means you are traveling without a valid ticket.

You add it just as you do for every other train, search the connection and select the correct one, If it does not show then you can make a manual entry by scrolling to the bottom of the search result page.

You are of course free to buy regular non-interrail tickets for any journey should you wish not to use the pass.
