I had already made some seat reservations before I downloaded the interrail app on my phone. Now that I have downloaded the interrail app, I added the journey and want to connect the made seat reservations to the journey on the interrail app.
Is this possible?

That's not possible and there's no need to do it.
Reservations are separate from the pass. If they're mandatory, you need to show both pass and reservation at ticket inspection; it they're optional, you only need your reservation to find your seat and maybe to show if someone else is sitting in it.
