Advice fir booking Paris to Nice on 23 Nay please

Hi I am planning our europe holiday and trying to work out the best way for us to use the eurail pass we have purchased. Do I need to purchase a reservation to get from Paris to Nice on 12 May or is there a reservation free way please? We need to make the journey that day so our date isn't flexible but we don't mind a longer scenic route if there is one?

You can do that by TGV with reservations from 10€ (if there are still one) or 20€ (until the train is full) 

Reservation free routes would take very long and several changes. 

I´ am not working for Eurail or Interrail i just share my knowledge here. Please ask in the Community and not via private message as this is the fastest way to get an answer. I prefer English/German/ Czech for my answers. In case of Reservationquestions please share some details like Route, Date, Trainnumber as otherwise we can just provide general advices or answers

This is a screenshot of a quick search for a second class pass holder. Most trains still have 10 euro seats available, but some are now 20 euro. The first class price is the supplement for a second class pass holder.
