Hey all,

I want to go From Amsterdam to Zurich with IC 60403. This train departs Amsterdam 20:15 and arrives at 8:05.

then i need to take another train from zurich EC 33 at 8:33 to 14:42.

will i be able to make this transfer? does nightjet arrives on time?

also i checked https://www.zugfinder.net/en/train-IC_60403 and the train was delayed many times.

is there any alternative to this route?

It is a risky itinerary, nobody will tell otherwise. Nobody could predict either how big the delay will be on your travel date.

On the other hand you would only lose 13€ for the Zurich-Venice EC. You'd go to Milan using reservation-free trains via Lugano (hourly) and book a new Frecciarossa high-speed train for 13€. There will be availability on the day.

Not even that: you should be able to get the unused reservation refunded because the delay caused the missed connection and SBB operates both trains in Switzerland.

Request it from the place where you booked the reservation, usually via customer service. Rail Europe, ÖBB and Eurail (the latter is more expensive) all have a contact form for that.
