Anybody from Croatia/Serbia who can help me out? Connection between Zagreb and Belgrade?

If my research is correct, there used to be connections from Zagreb to Belgrade (and Budapest to Belgrade) not long that ago. Does anybody living in one of those countries have any idea what is going one with those railways? Is it under construction, and if so, is that a matter of months or years? Or are they just closed off never to be used again? Thank you!

Budapest to Belgrade is partly under construction, now with rail replacement buses.

i have no idea what the problem is on Zagreb to Belgrade. It was discontinued because of COVID but nobody knows when it will restart.

Please ask questions in the community and not via a private message. That's the quickest way to get a response. I don't work for Eurail/Interrail.
