For Barcelona sants - Portbau trains on the 6th July 2022, there’s trains on the eurail planner website at 8:15, 9:16, and 10:00 that don’t appear on the railplanner app. Also for the trains that are on both the website and railplanner (8:16 and 10:16) the website has the reservation details as “unavailable” but the railplanner app lists them as fine to travel on. I’m just curious what is going on with this line, I’ve heard that RENFE doesn’t share their timetables very well, but taking the 9:16 would be preferable to the 10:16 and it would be good to know if the train even exists.

Neither app nor website should be trusted. Too few updates, especially for the app.

Standard answer is to check with the operator, which is RENFE, but their website is awful.

Here's the timetable in PDF format, provided by the Catalan government:

https://rodalies.gencat.cat/web/.content/02_Horaris/horaris/R11.pdf

Also check what you're actually looking at:

8:15 is an AVE with a change in Girona.

9:16 is a direct regional train.

10:00 is a TGV with a change in Girona.

10:16 is a direct MD (reservation-free)

HORario for all Trenes in Catalunya have been revised since a week or 2 ago-they now run regularly ev hour at least as far as Girona as Cat-Express (NO MD here anymore) and most continue to PB-but to change to FR/SNCF you MUST find one to Cerbere=first estacion over border=frontera

So the PDF (from 23 April) is not correct anymore? If so, please tell us where we can find the up to date timetable.
