Hi, I've bought the reservations from Rome to Paris. Now there are any reservations available to get to my next destination, Amsterdam! I was planning on leaving on August 8th, but neither 7th nor 9th has any slot available.

Is this actually possible?

No, not possible due to problems to Thalys high speed trains next week most trains are cancelled.

You need to go to an alternative place or to take an alternative route.

Paris to Amsterdam you can take a TGV (reservation compulsory - you can book it at Ticket offices or ticket machines of SNCF in France or online via b-europe [+4€ booking]) to Lille Europe or Lile Flanders, from Lile Flanders there are TER/Intercity trains to Belgium where you have to change to an other Intercity to Antwerpen. From Antwerpen Centraal Intercity trains run hourly to Amsterdam. Intercity trains can’t be reservate in Belgium. You just hop on the train with your Interrail Pass.
