Booking Helsinki - Rovaniemi

Hi, I am planning my summer vacation, but unfortunately it is constantly showing me:

“You must split your journey. No connection” and so on. I checked the Finisch railway homepage and there are several connections there. Why cannot I plan it with Interrail Ticket? I am considering now not booking Interrail, but buying separately tickets. What do I do wrong?

Thanks a lot in advance for your attention and answers!

Where are you searching that is giving this result and for what dates?

The rail planner for a random date in June gives the departures accurately for that journey, it is often the case that local planners are ahead of Interrail as they only update their data periodically.

If you are only travelling in Finland it may well be a better option to book tickets with VR rather than Interrail as there are now high reservation fees (25% of the full fare) and no online booking for passholders.

Hello @Ola777

Your problem is not clear. Do you want define the journey in the Rail Planner app or reserve seats on the Interrail website?

The timetables in the Rail Planner are not reliable, it is better to plan your trip with the official railways timetables.

However, reservations are optional in Finland so you can travel without them.
