I’m looking to make seat reservations for the Munich to Verona train on Weds July 17th departing at 13:34 (RJ 87 / ECB 87). I was expecting to be able to reserve the seats at least 2-3 months in advance based on other reservations I've made, however DB shows “No Price Information Available” for this train for all dates in June onwards. Does anyone know why this is?

DB cannot sell standalone mandatory reservations, even for their own trains (with little exceptions). They become mandatory in June.
Instead book through ÖBB : 10€ passholder supplement (15€ 1st class) + 3€ reservation with seat selection. Add Interrail/Eurail as a discount and select one-way tickets.
