Booking seat reservations for trains in Portugal

Hi there,

We will be in Portugal in August and are trying to book our seat reservations for these trains.

We are wanting to book for Porto to Lisbon and Lisbon to Lagos.

We have received the below message for these trains.

Does anyone know what this means and how we can book these trains?

Also are these trains included in our pass or will we need to pay extra for them?

Many thanks!

Katelyn

Your pass is valid. Reservations are only available at ticket counters. Availability shouldn't be an issue, book them when you arrive in the country.

At the Faro CP ticket office the staff asked us to validate the trip (and the day of travel) of our passes before delivering the reservation on the Alfa pendular to Porto leaving Lisboa three days after. I am not sure though if this is was local initiative our CP policy.
