Booking seats reservation issues (National pass Spain)

Hi all,

actually I’m preparing for my travel around Spain that will be real in the next two weeks, I’m trying to book my reservation seats for a travel between Valencia and Alicante but at the moment I want to pay suddenly it says that there are erros with my data.

I checked and my data are correct, I really don’t know and I also text to the assistance but I’m discovering that railpass is not amazing app for this. Do you know some other sites or app I can use just to book reservation?

I tried to go directly on Renfe website but actually it just sell full ticket, I can’t book the seat reservation.

It’s my first time interrail and it’s my first travel alone longer than a weekend, so please I’m bit scared that everything could go wrong, it would be nice to have all seats reserved before taking my flight to Spain.

www.raileurope.com now also does Spanish reservations, without any booking fees.

If that doesn't work, then please mention date and departure time.

Should be possible through www.happyrail.com. Change tickets to reservations. 1.50€ booking fee.

www.raileurope.com now also does Spanish reservations, without any booking fees.

If that doesn't work, then please mention date and departure time.

Does RailEurope work for you? I still can't do any Spanish reservations there...

Works for me:

But keep in mind, like Interrail and Happyrail, they can't do all trains. Avant, MD and regional trains can't be booked online.

Hi, bist du schon in Spanien? Wie kommst du dort mit den Zügen/Sitzplatzreservierungen zurecht? Ich bin auch bald da und mache mir schon etwas Sorgen. LG

In Spanien kann man am Schalter reservieren. In Deutschland (für Spanien) übrigens auch.

Ansonsten geht es auf raileurope.com (für AVE, IC, Euromed, Alvia). Wenn es auf Deutsch dort nicht funktioniert, dann die Website auf Englisch umstellen.

How do we book a seat if raileurope.com is not working either?

Set the language to English. It's a bug, hopefully they'll fix it soon.

In addition, set currency to euro, since prices in other currencies are around 5% higher.

Rail Europe can't book all trains, such as the Avant trains, for which it incorrectly says that the pass doesn't apply.
