Booking TGV innoui Lyon-Bruxelle

Hello there, 

Trying to get a seat to go from Lyon to Bruxelles in July but it seems impossible to get a reservation. It tells the price and all but apparently we cannot make a reservation. Does someone know why ? Can we just not use interrail to go to Bruxelles from Lyon ? But then why does the price appear on this website ? It seems to be the same evryday, so not a problem of avaibility.

At my train station they say they cannot book seat for interrail, but do you know if there i s a spot/train station I could ask for it ?

What's your travel date and departure time? 1st or 2nd class?

I tried a random date in July. I could add it to my basket. It also works in French:

This is on www.raileurope.com, currently the best place to book reservations for this journey. For other trains, use this page as a guide.

So please explain what "cannot make a reservation” means: what happens at exactly which step. If there's an error or if you get stuck, please post a screenshot.

If you're in France, and the SNCF ticket staff told you they can't make Interrail reservations, then they were either lying or misinformed.

Do keep in mind that pass holder seats are limited on Eurostar (Paris-Brussels) and very limited on the direct TGVs to Brussels. But in July, there should still be some availability.
