I recently purchased seat reservations for 9 people on a Berlin to Prague train on the interrail.eu website. The email only contained one ticket in one travellers name. Is this an error or can this ticket be used for all 9 travellers in the group?

Reservations for trains that do not require a reservation but only optional are all together.
On this reservation should be 9 seat numbers on it. Seat there.
